Take a break this week.

The 18th annual Healthy Weight Week is a time to celebrate healthy diet-free living habits that last a lifetime and prevent eating and weight problems. Our bodies cannot be shaped at will. But we can all be accepting, healthy and happy at our natural weights. from Healthy Weight Network

This isn’t a week to celebrate diets, “skinny” or “thin” but to celebrate the health and wellness in people; putting healthy living at the forefront.

Is it ironic that Healthy Weight Week is the third week in January? Shouldn’t it be the first week of January? Nope. It turns out that the third week in January is when many people who resolved to “lose weight” have already lost their motivation. How easy is it to stay motivated when you haven’t lost the 5-10 pounds by now?

Slow down and take a deep breath. It doesn’t work that way.

  • NO more DIEting, No more deprivation, and NO more stressing.
  • You eat real food (no cereal or shakes) on a regular basis, including snacks.
  • You enjoy getting up and moving.
  • You feel good as you become healthier.

Stick with it this week, and vow to stick with it in the short-term AND long-term, and your healthy weight will be on the right track.
